An Emotional and Sexy Novel about Saved Hearts, Finding Love and Lost and Found Families by Melissa Foster, New York Times Bestselling author of Maybe done.
After spending years wondering who she is, tattoo artist Kate Weatherby has finally found her answers on the sandy beaches of Silver Island. With two half-sisters she never knew existed, a group of friends she adores, and a terribly charming fan who flirts with her every step of the way, she is ready to understand her next steps. The problem is that Kate lives in the shadow of a dark past, and she can not afford complications that could cause her to lose the family she has just found – complications like the blue-eyed boat builder Brent Remington, as open-minded as she is. If only the sexy magic would get the hint …
Brant is the opposite of Kate in every way, but he is drawn to everything to do with the sexy newcomer – from the quiet power that carefully competes with her moss-green eyes to her tough front that he can’t wait to undress.
While Brant does his magic, Kate’s walls go down. But as sweet as it feels, Kate knows how quickly good things can turn into bad. It will take more than a little trust to defeat her past spirits and claim the future that comes to both of them.

I’ve been waiting impatiently for the story of Kate Weatherby and Brent Remington since their acquaintance with Maybe We Will. An atmosphere of mystery enveloped Kate, which made me eager to learn her story. In the movie we might want she found out she has brothers, whom she has been close to ever since. She knew she had been adopted, but was never aware of the circumstances behind the adoption. This information was discovered in this episode of the Silver Harbor series.
From the moment Brant met Kate, he knew she was the woman of his dreams. However, his flirtations and charming personality did not seem to affect her. He knew he needed to convince her that they were meant for each other. Giving up was not an option.
As fate would have it, Kate’s attempt to save a lovely dog from drowning provided them with the perfect opportunity to get closer.
The chemistry between Kate and Brant has skyrocketed. There was no denying it, no matter how much Kate tried to escape it. I liked Brant’s patience with her. He wanted to be with her, but he chose not to push until she was ready. With his magic, patience and understanding, he slowly detached the wall that enveloped her heart.
Kate’s past discovery was heartbreaking. Despite the pain she had suffered in the past, she remained strong. I admired her courage in dealing with the person responsible for the pain and injury. Her actions showed how much she grew.
🎧︎📚 Maybe We Should, is another wonderful story in the Silver Harbor series. He introduced characters that readers could relate to. The romance on display was developed and authentic. It is impossible not to treat this couple when dealing with their problems.
Savannah Pitchwood and Aaron Shadlock recounted. Both are new to me. I thought their voices complemented each other. I believed they did a wonderful job of reviving Kate and Brant, and both added emotion to their narration.
Conclusion / Recommendation
Overall 🎧︎📚 Maybe we should convey a wonderful romantic story, which fulfilled my need for a heartwarming romance. A story that readers of romance will appreciate for its charm and the emotions it will evoke.

Maybe done (Silver Port Book 1)
When Chef Avi de Tourer returns to Silver Island with her sister to sort out their late mother’s affairs, she expected to inherit her mother’s bistro along with their childhood home, not to discover a half-sister they did not know existed, and a handsome vacation parked on her mother’s porch.
Labor addict Aidan Aldridge was sent to Silver Island for a jobless vacation, armed with a “release list,” and ordered to be given life by the much younger sister he raised after their parents’ deaths. After years of focusing on his sister’s well-being, he is dazzled by his intense attraction to my amazing and spirit-free father.
Aidan may not know much about relaxation, but he’s great at deals. He helps my father with the restaurant in exchange for her help in dealing with the items on his list. Sparks fly as Aidan and Avi work, playing side by side. Intimate conversations lead to steamy kisses and an undeniable passion. But there is more to Aidan than my father knows, and when the truth comes out, their new affair is put to the test, with the two discovering whether true love can really conquer everything.
