Writer Bill Kimberly, Psy.D. Has been researching and writing about death row inmates and the execution process for more than a decade. He received a bachelor’s degree in science in criminal law, a master’s degree in the arts in counseling and a doctorate in psychology. Kimberly began a postdoctoral fellowship in psychology, but was primarily interested in understanding the worst crime mind. This led him to focus on the psychology of death row inmates. He has been married to his wife (Wendy) for 30 years and has two amazing children, Bailey and Mackenzie. His family was the backbone of his never-ending research, and they were there for him throughout his journey. Kimberly grew up in Ohio where his father, Jay, still lives. His mother, Etta, to whom his book Look at me dead Dedicated, passed away in December 2020. He has one older brother, Jay Jr., who also lives in Ohio. Bill Wendy currently resides in Florida, where they enjoy the sun while continuing to work in their fields of study. He continues to travel to various death row inmates across the country, interviewing inmates and death row inmates alike, and has been asked to witness several more executions in different countries in the near future.
