It all started in Vegas …

“In about five years,” he agreed, taking a sip from his beer bottle. Because you can take the rock star to Paris and dress him in a three-piece suit, but he has not yet sipped champagne. Thank you very much.

“This is the plan,” I said.

“And you love your plans.”

The man was right about that. Some people can get through life as they fly near their pants seat. Content so as not to know what will happen next. I was not one of those people. I both knew and accepted it for myself. Know yourself and all that. Lists were my friends. An orderly order of inventory of everything and everything that happens in my life. Places to be. Things to Do. Goals to be achieved at work. Planning was the way I gave form and context to my existence, which in turn helped me live life to the fullest. Not that I did not mind walking on the wild side occasionally. After all I woke up in Vegas married to a rock star. But being organized was where I fared. It was my happy place.

“I say we enjoy as long as we can.” His fingers snuck under the long blond hair to rub my neck. The hands of guitarists were wonderful things. So much power and skill. Not to mention the creativity.

I raised an eyebrow. “Are you talking about the toilets again?”

“The way I think it is, this suite has four rooms,” he said in a low, hoarse voice. Sexy as hell. My panties were worn out with every word he whispered. “The bedroom, the bathroom, the dining room and this official living room or whatever they called it the hell of a servant. Now, given how much we pay per night, it would be wrong on our part not to make the most of the place.”

My review:

I’m always in favor of any story in Stage Dive The world of one of my favorite writers, Kylie Scott. And going back to the beginning in a certain way, by meeting our first couple from the series was wonderful! Well wonderful in a very emotionally stressful way. Because the way Dave and Eve’s unplanned pregnancy actually develops is a crazy roller coaster ride. And so unexpected! But what’s nice is having all their friends and family around to help them get through this emotional period. Through the other books I kind of forgot how intense David could be, but it really got back to the way he dealt with their unexpected family crisis.

And of course, my favorite part of any book in Stage Dive A series is all the time I spent with my all-time favorite book friend, Mal Erickson. He can make anyone laugh at any kind of incident or crisis, or even in good times. I love how Kylie Scott writes it perfectly. So unique and perfect every time.

Another novella / perfect addition to this series!
