Lizette Martinez He is the survivor and breaker of silence who appears in the documentary nominated for my mother Survives the r. Kelly, Parts 1 and 2. She was one of the first women to go out on a limb in public to BuzzFeed in 2018. A Puerto Rican and from a music family, Lizette, an aspiring singer, was seventeen when she met R. Kelly at a mall in Miami. She began a working relationship with the star which quickly became an abusive relationship. Her story was presented Good day LA, Access to Hollywood, E News, The New Yorker, The Wrap, Inside Edition, Univision, And many other media. She lives in Miami and founded a non-profit organization, Dalia’s house, Offering safe homes for victims and abusers.

Killin McGregor

Killin McGregor He is an editor and writer for the first time growing up in the publishing industry, reading manuscripts from a young age. She has spent the last few years creating proposals and reviewing manuscripts for literary agents and writers, as well as independently editing and writing posts and content for social media. Based in Seattle, she enjoys being a part of the local aerial circus community – spending an unusual amount of time upside down – and reading whatever she can squeeze in during the day.
